ALEA is a Cooperativa di Ricerca (an autonomous cooperative association devoted to cultural research) qualified to properly respond to the wide range of requests highlighted by the distinctive market share made up of people longing to record, to get acquainted with, to analyze, appraise, promote and support the environmental issues as well as the architectural and urban heritage of the country.
The organization was established in November 1985 and thenceforth has developed all the activities aimed to deepen the analysis and the critical steps that lead to become familiar with the territory and its towns, apart from the planning instances. The evidence that the initial idea of a business was correct ensues from the work successfully carried on so far, which encompasses from cataloguing topics to archaeological surveys, along with gathering, analyzing and handling territory and urban information data, besides publishing and editing events.
The present – and, most supposedly, future – environmental and cultural emergency situation will certainly raise some regulatory and financial issues, as well as a newly conceived cultural sensitiveness: this is the challenge ALEA is now confronting.
This way ALEA will certainly answer to the demand of an integrated management of the local architectural and cultural heritage, also providing top-quality services aimed to give value to existing and soon-coming assets and services concerning the historic legacy that must be protected and dealt with.
