The itinerary develops from Bovec to Tarvisio, through the Predil Pass, and is quite demanding.
The uphill climb is not too long, but the slope becomes a real challenge from Log pod Mangartom. An amazing overview however makes up for the effort.
Once in Tarvisio many segregate cycle facilities are available to reach Slovenia and Austria or if you want to continue on Italian routes. Road traffic is really quite low during Fall and in Springtime.

The main part of the itinerary runs through Slovenia, a very appreciable trip that links the plane lowlands with the mountains, and two countries both featuring breath-taking sights.
